  2. Here is how to get non capital tones on a Roland SCXXX Sound Module thrugh
  3. Cakewalk for Windows.
  4.  
  5. Go to a point in the song where you want the sound to start.
  6.  
  7. click right button, select event list.
  8.  
  9. insert three events....Just press the insert key on keyboard 3 times)
  10.  
  11. change first event to CONTROL
  12.   change first value to 0 second value to cco# from sound chart
  13. change second event to PATCH CHANGE  
  14.   change value to pc# from sound chart
  15. change third even to CONTROL
  16.   change first value to 0 change second value to 0
  17.  
  18. remember that scc-1 pc#(patch nums) are 1 greater than cakewalk nums
  19. so if you wanted to change the sound to scream the event list would
  20. look like this:

  23.  2    1:1:000   6     cntrl  0 2
  24.  2    1:1:001   6     patch  126
  25.  2    1:1:002   6     cntrl  0 0

  29. Done there you go....but remember that these are 'embedded' events in your
  30. song, like a note....note events are like pressing a keyboard key, and patch
  31. change/control events are like me pushing buttons on my canvas to change a 
  32. sound----moral of story is again that these things ONLY occur as the song is
  33. being played so it can get confusing when you have one patch listed on the 
  34. track view of cakewalk and embedded sounds in the song and it doesn't sound 
  35. when you want it too.
